REFLECTION

Experiences

The first impression on Typography was intimidating, not only because of its difficulty within the subject but the time limitations that we had throughout the entire semester. From our very first Advanced Typography class, assignments and projects became way more manageable as we start to learn what it is that we had to do. Truthfully, it was a tough semester, but with regular self-motivation, tasks tend to feel less complicated.

Observation

Through pressure and Mr. Vinod's continuous pushes, I can see myself learn and grow not only as a student but somewhat as a designer. With comparison to the last semester, improvements were evident. Our skills grew along our journey and stress was a crucial part for us to improve.

Findings

As time management was the most valuable take away from the last semester, this time it was learning to let lose the support that was previously provided by Mr. Vinod. The truth is, we will eventually be on our own feet in the very near future. Help is great, but independence is a necessity (Mr. Vinod’s inspirational talk was surprisingly gold).
