FEEDBACK

Week 11 | July 1st, 2020

Dr. Hayati gave feedback on the entire dissertation this week, so there were a few writings to be addressed and fixed before the final book submission this weekend. We were supposed to fix the writings according to the comments and feedback and prepare the e-book in Flip HTML 5 by Sunday, 28th of June.

Week 12 | July 8th, 2020

Dr. Hayati commented on how she can clearly sense my own language when reading the entire dissertation of mine. A few things that have to be fixed is the reiteration of research objectives and questions in the discussion section. In the visual book layout, Dr.. Hayati thought it lacked some kind of website-looking element, other than that it looked very business-like with many photos of architecture and buildings. She also pointed out on the ordinary looking table in figure 5.1, which could be redesigned for aesthetic purposes despite the data originally belonging to Stanford’s Lab group.
Those were the things that had to be amended as soon as possible during the week.

Week 13 | July 15th, 2020

We checked on the progression of the research journal in this week’s tutorial slot. Seeing that I was trying to answer both research questions in a very limited count count journal, Dr. Hayati spent a fair amount of time explaining the purpose of the research journal, and told me to rethink my current attempt. She explained how publication journals can be only a small part of the research and not the entire publication. She then advised me to limit my references exclusively to the context of the publication journal.

Week 14 | July 22nd, 2020

Dr. Hayati told me to look closer into the positioning of the statements. There is nothing wrong with the contents, but the way I have written it. She emphasized that my research has already reached the third stage where I’m supposed to write the article as an author looking over to the research, instead of writing it as the researcher.
